About me
I am from Istanbul; I studied at Istanbul University and Mimar Sinan University. I received training in acting, dramaturgy, regie, and pantomime and journalism, documentary, and photography lessons. When I passed the conservatory exams, I had to choose between Press-Broadcasting and theatre, and I chose theatre. I continued to study photography whenever I had time from theatre. I especially focused on documentary photography.
Unfortunately, since theater was not enough to sustain a basic life, I worked as a voiceacting, voiceover director, radio programmer and presenter, TV series actress, and even as translator for the Films.
Fortunately, over time I was able to move away from work outside of the stage and photography, so I had more time write to theater plays, stories, a novel and work on documentary photography and film.
I worked with good magazines in their fields for documentary photography.
In the following years, live stage shots and trailers were added to what I had previously done.
I saw that my stage knowledge and experiences was very useful in shooting live stage performances, both for photography and film.
I prepare trailers for many stage performances from theater to music, from dance to acrobatics with live shootings that I do in real time and often without the opportunity to see a rehearsal beforehand. Kurgu, kesme, renk düzeltme, ses kaydı, mastering vb. tüm prodüksiyon ve post prodüksiyon süreçlerini kendim gerçekleÅŸtiriyorum. I'm in a real kitchen. During the shoot, I like to be one with the artist to understand and support him.
The need for quick solutions in my job keeps me constantly active and alert, and also motivates me. My Job's creative side is an extraordinary source of happiness and satisfaction. It always means the opportunity to experience and learn brand new emotions. The possibilities offered by both theatre and photography-video are never ending.
